The resulting edge has a high polish and is shaving sharp.

Manual sharpening for pocket knives and utility fixed blades. Handmade sharpening done on a KME fixed - angle system up to 600 grit plus a run on power stropping belts.
This produces a highly regular V-shaped cutting edge that is shaving sharp.
